Clearpoint adds Employee Appreciation Pay
A new benefit for hourly employees
April 14, 2011
Clearpoint is proud to announce Employee Appreciation Pay, a new employee benefit.
Under this new benefit, Clearpoint will give an extra week’s pay to hourly employees who work 1000 hours within a rolling nine-month period.
Employee Appreciation Pay is the latest addition to Clearpoint’s slate of benefits. The company already offers medical and vision insurance with premiums partially paid by Clearpoint, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching funds, and profit sharing.

“We’re pretty sure that profit sharing already made Clearpoint unique,” said company President James Webb. “No other staffing company that we know of offers it. Now with the addition of Employee Appreciation Pay, we offer a benefits package that rivals much bigger corporations.”
“A great thing about Employee Appreciation Pay is that our employees decide how to use it based on what’s best for them,” said Vice President Charelle Webb. “Some will use the payment to cover the cost of taking time off from a Clearpoint work assignment, and others will keep the money and keep working. Some may put it toward training or some other form of professional development. It really gives each eligible employee a lot of flexibility.”
When James and Charelle founded Clearpoint in 1999, they envisioned a staffing company that succeeds by nurturing long-term relationships with employees and clients. Twelve years later Clearpoint remains profitable and is fulfilling its mission to find great work opportunities for Houston’s top professionals in information technology, marketing, and creative fields.
“When you work for Clearpoint the biggest benefit of all is the long-term relationship with our team of account managers and recruiters who bring you rewarding career opportunities,” said James. “When you add health coverage, 401(k), profit sharing, and employee appreciation – that’s a complete package that reflects Clearpoint’s core values.”
The Employee Appreciation Pay benefit was made effective on January 1, 2011. From that date forward employees who work 1000 hours in the most recent nine-month period qualify for the benefit. Hours worked prior to January 1, 2011, are not included in an employee’s total. After reaching the 1000-hour threshold, the employee’s next paycheck includes a benefit payment equal to what the individual earns for 40 hours of work.
